Popa Preparing Well For Derby

Township Rollers FC head coach Thabo Motang earlier on Wednesday told the Gaborone Derby press briefing that his side’s preparations to face Gaborone United at the weekend are going well.
“I am proud to be leading the team for this match, which has a lot of history. I have experience of the derby as a player and coach; I understand its nature and pressure, and look forward to a good game.
GU have a great team, they are the current champions they have been keeping clean sheets so far. We know we have a huge task before us and we are prepared to answer the questions they pose. We will also pose some questions to them. We believe in the strength of our own team, we are focused on achieving victory, and our preparations are going well for Saturday,” Motang said.
Club Public Relations Officer (PRO) Bafana Pheto urged Rollers supporters to attend the derby in large numbers.
“Ntwa e bolotse, e tlhoka basupi ka se se tlaabong se dirwa ko National Stadium.
When you go into a tough battle you need all the ammunition you have to win, and the supporters, the twelfth man should come and cheer their team to victory. They should purchase tickets now and be ready for Saturday,” Pheto said.
Host team Gaborone United revealed that tickets would not be sold at the stadium on match day and fans were encouraged to buy them from Webticket outlets well in time ahead of the game.
