On Form Joel Happy With Season Start

Township Rollers vice captain Joel Mogorosi who has been firing on all cylinders since the beginning of the season, says his team his team is happy with the way they

Speaking to rollersfc.com, Mogorosi, who has six goals from the first five league games of the season, said he is happy with his goal return and the performance of the team as a whole.

“It’s great to score goals but what is that I am happy that the team is picking up maximum points, and whatever I do, I do for the team. Everyone is happy, starting from the technical team to the players, the young guys, we are happy at work; the mood is very good in camp, if you come to our training sessions you see us joking and laughing because the atmosphere is a happy one; but we also do serious work,” Mogorosi said.

His form has led to some football supporters calling for his return to the national team, but Mogorosi insists that it is entirely up to the national selectors.

“For I am focused on playing for Rollers, I have done my part, I have played for the national team for over a decade. If I am called to the national team I will be happy to represent my country, but if not I know I have contributed,” Mogorosi revealed.

The veteran forward also expressed pleasure at how Rollers new signings which include Tumisang Orebonye, Thatayaone “TT” Ditlhokwe, Jackson Lesole, Mothusi Copper and Kamogelo Matsabu have fitted into the team.

“The new players have come in and they just fitted into the team like they were with us last season. We have had injuries to key players like Edwin Moalosi, Lemponye Tshireletso, Ofentse Nato and Gape Mohutsiwa but we have managed to have other players come in and do well; we have a pool of players who can perform anytime- the technical team and management have to be commended for the signings they made,” Mogorosi said.
