Mwampule Suleman Masule has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Botswana Premier League, owing to his quick lightning reflexes and a solid, reliable presence between the posts, dominating his box arena. He was rated as the most improved player in the 2013-2014 Premier League season.

Hailing from Kasane, Botswana’s town for a real safari, this towering goalkeeper started football at primary level, representing his school in lots of competitions. After completing studies, Suleman joined Farry Wanderers in 2007-2008 before joining the Kasane based outfit Kazungula Fighters.

Masule, a tall, athletic and confident personal, progressed quickly with the two clubs, depicting a spectacular display of football protecting the goalposts. His already burgeoning reputation was further enhanced when Rollers signed him in 2010. Despite his tender age in 2010(19 years old), Mwampule trotted the field adorning the Popa outfit and enjoyed a largely successful debut season. His superior goal saving prowess helped Popa clinch the League and Cup double in 2010.
In 2013-14 season, Mwampule continued his supremacy over other goalkeepers by providing 19 cleansheets out of a total of 35 fixtures in all club competitions. A great performance at the goalposts helped Popa win the 2013-14 League title.
Masule has been a stand-out figure throughout the 2013-14 season, earning a permanent place in the team and becoming the first choice stopper for years to follow.

The towering goalkeeper always cherishes his game against BDF XI in the 2013-14 season and Centre Chiefs in the season 2014-15 where he saved crucial penalty, which turned out as the winning moments for Popa.

Suleman’s consistent display of goal-saving prowess was awarded with the “Mascom Top 8 Number 1 Safe hands” honour in the 2014 Top 8 tournament. As if that was not enough, he also won the “Player of the Season” and “Supporters’ Player of the Season” award in the 2013-14 Premier League.

This Kasane goalie has developed a threatening presence, with superior ability to prevent goals in the final line of defence.
